At present the road has no resort of this kind that it controls although there are two first class parks between Janesville and Rockford. The nearest one to Janesville is Yost's park about four miles this side of Beloit. What the company desires is a park about midway between Beloit and Janesville containing about sixty acres. The idea of the company is to offer to the patrons of the line an inviting place for outings during the summer and where parties can go any day and find provisions made for their comfort and enjoyment. The company will not make it a money-making scheme but will maintain it as an inducement to more riding on the line, and also providing a place where patrons may spend an afternoon or Sunday.
