• “P. 0. Janesville ; born on one of the Shetland Isles in 1831 ; came to America in 1845 and settled on the farm he now owns of 200 acres. Married Miss Isabella Clark, of Harmony, in 1868 ; they have five children — Ellen J., John C, Margaret I., Gracie G. and James P.”
