“Beloit; born in Columbia Co., N. Y., in 1793; he came to Newark in 1852, and bought 160 acres of land, 40 of which was improved, and an old log house on the land ; he at once built a frame residence, with barns, etc.; made all improvements. He married in Saratoga Co., N.”
