• “At the annual meeting held on April 7, 1858, it was unanimously resolved to build a new church, which was accompllished in the^following summer at a cost of about $1,700. At the same meeting, a new constitution providing for the election of three Trustees and six Deacons, one and two of whom respectively are elected at the annual meeting.”
