• “Levi Inman was born on July 12, 1829, and was a native of Luzerne county, Pennsylvania. He moved to Wisconsin in 1857 and engaged in farming for a number of years, then sold the farm he had purchased and with his father moved to Milledgeville, Carroll county, 111., whence he returned a few years later and settled on his 200-acre farm in Bradford township, which he improved and where he passed the remainder of his life and where his widow now resides.”
