• “Levi Inman was born on July 12, 1829, and was a native of Luzerne county, Pennsylvania. He moved to Wisconsin in 1857 and engaged in farming for a number of years, then sold the farm he had purchased and with his father moved to Milledgeville, Carroll county, 111., whence he returned a few years later and settled on his 200-acre farm in Bradford township, which he improved and where he passed the remainder of his life and where his widow now resides. He was engaged in general farming and stock raising and besides carried on quite an extensive dairying business, and withal was prosperous and thrifty.”
