• “COHSTOCK, foreman of East Side mill, Rock River Paper Co.; was born in Floience, Oneida Co., N. Y., Jan. 3, 1834, where he received his early education and assisted his father on the farm ; ho came to Wisconsin Nov. 5, 1856, locating at Beloit ; from Florence he moved to Stephenson Co., 111., and thence to Beloit; was at first foreman of the saw-mill, which was afterward turned into a papermill, in w.hich he engaged as general helper; in 1873, he was appointed foreman of the East Side works of the Rock Ri?er Paper Co., which position he now holds. He enlisted in September, 1861, in Co.”
