• “Brodhead; was born in Scotland in 1805; came to Wisconsin in 1844, and was the second settler in the town. Married in Scotland in 1831 ; his; wife is 41 native of Scotland; they have five children living; lost two — Robert, who enlisted in 1861 ini the 13th Wis. V.”
