• “Footville ; was born in Lisbon, Grafton Co., N. H., in 1829 ; came to Wisconsin in 1859 ; first located in the town of Rock ; lived there three years, and removed to town of Janesville ; lived there four years, and removed to his present homestead. Married Miss Amanda Taylor in 1856 ; she was born in New Hampshire; they have two children — Elmer B. and Olive.”
