J. Smith, was appointed to report a plan to an adjourned meeting of the shareholders, which was held February 7, 1899. At that meeting the plan reported was approved by a vote of 653 to 321 (finally adopted February 24, 1899), and it was unanimously decided to pay each man, who had been in the company's employ during the past year, 10 per cent, in cash, of the wages earned by each for that year, including salaried men.
