• “Edwin Case, who has resided in Rock county, Wisconsin, since 1842, was born in Spofford township, Onondaga county, New York, on May 25, 1831, and is one of two surviving children of Samuel and Cloe J. (Olmstead) Case, both natives of New York state, the other survivor being a sister named Cordelia.”
