• “At a meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the Beloit & Taycheedah Railroad, convened at the Planters' Hotel, in the village of Watertown, on Thursday, the 1st day of November, 1849, in pursuance of the following notice, to wit : " A meeting of the Commissioners of the Beloit & Taycheednh Railroad Company will be held nt the Planters' Hotel, at Watertown, on Thursday, the 1st day of November, 1849, at 12 o'clock M., for the purpose of organization. The attendance of the Commissioners generally is requested — ten being necessary to constitute a quorum. October 22, 1849. L.”
