• “Y., Aug. 14, 1811; always followed farming ; came to Wisconsin in 1848, and located on Section 14; purchased his present homestead in 1850. Married Mary Jane Ward in 1840, who was a native of Ira, Cayuga Co.; born June 28, 1818, died in November, 1859. He owns 200 acres, under cultivation.”
