Brown's younger brother, Rev. John Kittridge BroAvn, a graduate of Harvard (born 1843, ordained at Stearns Chapel, Cambridgeport, Mass., October 16, 1872), has been for the last thirty-six years, and still is, a successful missionary of the American board to the Armenians at Harpoot, Turkey. During the terrible massacres there he and his family Avere providentially in this country, but they bravely went back to Harpoot the next year, and he is there now, 1908.
