• “P.O.Hanover; born July 5, 1817, in Luzerne Co., Penn., and worked as a farmer while there. In 1854, came to Wisconsin, and, after spending the summer in looking around for a suitable location, decided 9n Plymouth Township as his future home and bought a farm of 200 acres ; there was a small house on the land when he took possession; which was destroyed by fire Jan. 26, 1859, and he lost nearly everything, the family barely escaping with their lives,”
