• “Whitewater; born in County Derry, Ireland, in 1829. He landed at New York in 1844, and located in Jefferson Co., Wis., where he lived twenty years, removing to the farm he now owns, of 130 acres, in 1867. Married Laura Hannum in 1850, who died October, 1861, leaving one son, Rankin D., born July 26, 1855, and one daughter, Mary A., born June 12, 1853, now the wife of C.”
