• “Jones married Miss Jessie E., daughter of Mr. Griswold and Rachael (Tuttle) Weaver, the former a native of Canada, came to Wisconsin in 1836, and the latter a native of New York, came thither in 1838. The father entered government land in Clinton township, which he improved and where he made a home for his family.”
