• “P. 0. Janesville ; born in New York in 1825 ; came to Wisconsin in the spring of 1846, locating at La Prairie, Sec. 11, where he purchased a farm of 160 acres from the Government. Remained until about the year 1871, when he moved to Sec. 8, and purchased 160 acres, his present homestead.”
