Milton ; born in the town of Montville, New London Co., Conn., Jan. 10, 1823 ; son of Henry B. and Lucinda Crandall, who came to Rock Co., Wis., Nov. 16, 1838, and located on Sec. 28, claiming 240 acres; had nine children. Amos S. was the second son ; he married in April, 1845, Armanda Frink, daughter of George H. and Esther Frink, of Milton ; they had one child — Henry F., born Feb. 28, 1847.”
