HUNTRESS, patentee and proprietor of the Huntress Harness Trace Buckle ; born in Hancock, Addison Co., Vt., Sept. 22, 1844 ; came to Janesville in 1853 ; son of Gideon Huntress; he is a tinsmith by trade, and has been working at that business for several years, a portion of the time in Chicago ; also in Carlinville, 111.”
