The evidence

• “of five children, all now deceased, born to Brynihd and Eli (Siam) Duxstad, natives of Norway. The parents came to the United States in 1844 and settled with their family on a quarter section of laud in sections 31 and 32, in Clinton township, Rock county, Wisconsin, and made the home where they passed their lives. The father was a man of energy and intense activity and put his farm under a high state of cultivation, engaging in general farming.”
