• “Evansville; born in Ludlow, Windsor Co., N. Y., on Nov. 17, 1822 ; he settled in Wisconsin in 1854, in Union Township, Rock Co., where he engaged in farming ; in 1865, he removed to Evansville and engaged in farmins, havitig purchased a farm in that vicinity. He married, in Rutland, Dane Co., Wis., Dec. 25, 1863, Lucy A.”
