• “In 1892 he retired from the farm and moved to Janesville, where he died in 1893 honored and beloved by a wide circle of friends. In 1856, at the age of thirty-five, Mr. Finch married Miss Nancy, a daughter of Joseph and Hannah Wilcox, who was a native of Allegany county.”
