“LOOMIS, physician and surgeon; born in Oneida, Westmoreland Co., N. Y.; came to Neenah, Wis., in 1849 ;" removed to Fond du Lac Co. about two years later ; came to JanesVille Jan. 12, 1869 ; read medicine with Dr. Henry Palmer, of this city, and graduated from the Chicago Medical College, of the Class of '73 ; engaged in practice here ever since.”
