• “There I married my wife on the l-5th day of March, 1827. I remained in that country till September, 1832, when I moved with my wife and two children to La Porte County, Ind. I remained tliere till April 18!?.5, when I moved to Wisconsin with my family and settled in Racine County, six miles due west from the city of Racine.”
