• “O. Hanover ; born Dec. 21, 1846, in Beloit, Wis. ; moved to Magnolia about 1853, and, in 1857, to Bass Creek (now called Hanover), where he was educated. In the spring of 1865, went to McLean Co., near Bloomington, 111., and worked on a farm.”
