• “Lima Center; born in Madison Co., N. Y., June 14,1820; he followed farming for a number of years; learned the cheese-making business in 1 868 ; came to Wisconsin in 1875, locating at Lima, where he bought the cheese factory which he has successr fully conducted since; he used from 7,000 to 8,000 pounds of milk daily during the season of 1878, and made about 100,000 pounds of cheese, besides 4,000 pounds of butter ; his experience of many years enables him to guarantee satisfaction to his patrops. He married Miss Harriet E.”
