The evidence

• “For his second wife, Mr. Keesey married Miss Carrie, a daughter of Amund and Sarah Stugaarden, who came from Norway, her native land, in the spring of 1853, with her parents, one brother and two sisters, when she was fifteen years old. They first settled in Spring Valley township, but later moved to LaFayette county, Wisconsin, where they passed the remainder of their days on a farm.”
