• “O; Janesville; was born in New York in 1833 ; there followed his trade as carpenter and joiner ; in 1875, removed to Wisconsin,, located in Janesville, and worked at his trade until 1879, when he removed to Plymouth and went to farming in connection with working at his trade ; in 1861, Mr. Godfrey enlisted in the 45th Penn.”
