The evidence

• “Morris Township, Livingston Co., N. Y., where he farmed it successfully and lived until the fall of 1841, then removed to Avon Township, same county, where he farmed and flourished uniii 1846. In October of that year, he and family came to Wisconsin, by the way of the Lakes, to the city of Racine; then to Janesville.”
