• “Beloio; born in Windham, Penn., in 1806. In the spring of 1838, he came to Wisconsin, and bought forty acres Government land in Section 1, Beloit Township, Rock Co. ; he then returned East, and remained there till 1845, and, in the fall of that year, flame here with his family, built residence, barns, etc., and made all improvements. Married in Susquehanna Co., Penn., in 1829, Lucy G.”
