• “Mr. Tripp is a Mason ; has served as Chairman of the town of Rock' many years ; was elected to the Wisconsin Legislature in 1856, and has served as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Education of the Blind for the past twenty-two years ; he has one of the largest orchards in Rock Co., containing 1,500 trees; raises Durham grades, Norman horses, Poland hogs, and has this year eleven acres of tobacco and fifty-three acres of winter wheat, which looks extremely well. Mr, Tripp is a Republican.”
