• “The Norwegian Lutheran Church, in the town of Clinton, was organized in 1849, and incorporated on March 26, of the same year. Prior, however, to the organization of the society, viz., in 1848, a brick church was built, at a cost of $800, and, as soon as the society was formed, the Rev. C.”
