Warsaw was platted by Charles Mellin and Albert Fowler in the town of Fulton, within a quarter of a mile of the present city of Edgerton.

• “Warsaw was platted by Charles Mellin and Albert Fowler on September 21, 1836, on the southwest quarter of the southwest quarter of section 11 of the town of Fulton, within a quarter of a mile of the present city of Edgerton. The town map shows twenty-four blocks and a public square.”
