So successful was the Grand Army picnic held at Yost's park in June that the affair will be repeated on a larger scale at the same place on Wednesday, August 14th. Fort Atkinson, Evansville, Edgerton, Whitewater and Milton posts will go to Janesville on early trains and with the Janesville post will leave on the 9:15 a. m. interurban car for Yost's park, escorted by the G. A. R. drum corps and the band. At the park the program will be: 11 a. m.—Grand Mount. 11 noon.—Beans, Beans, Beans. 2 to 3 p. m.—Speaking and Singing. 3 p. m.—Grand drilling match for all old soldiers of '61 to '65. Guns will be furnished and the old army tactics used. As fast as an error is made, party must drop out. Capt. L. C. Brewer of the Mich. Vols. will drill the squad and give the prize to the winner. 4 p. m.—Dress parade, to which every old soldier is requested to take part and see how good his memory is. Every old soldier and his family, Women's Relief Corps, soldiers of the Spanish-American war, and all their friends are invited to attend and spend the day. The posts all
