GOODHUE, Johnstown Center; born in Essex Co., Mass., Aug. 17, 1820 son of Thomas and Hannah Goodhue; he came to Racine Co., Wis., in 1841, and lived there one year removed to Jefferson Co., where he resided as minister of the Congregational Church a number of years then in Oconomownc about five years, returning to Oakland, Jeff"erson Co., and remained until 1854 then resided in Sauk Co,, Wis., two years; returned, in 1857, to his native State, and resided there and in New Hampshire about eight years, engaged as a preacher of the Gospel ; returning to Wisconsin, he resided in Koshkonong until 1868, when he settled in the town of Johnstown, where he has retired from his labors. He married Bliss Lucinda A.”
