Janesville; born in New York ia September, 1842 ; came to Wisconsin in 1859 ; located in Magnolia Township ; lived there four years ; then moved to La Prairie, where he purchased 160 acres; in 1868, added eighty acres more ; in 1874, purchased 160 acres in Dane County, also forty acres in Sec. 19 ; Mr.”
