• “COLT, dairy and stock farmer; was born in Richfield, Otsego Co., N. Y., Aug. 29^ 1827, and came to Wisconsin in September, 1863, locating at Beloit; from Richfield he moved to Exeter, N. Y., and engaged in the buying and selling of cattle and sheep between Ohio and Canada ; he then went to Cooperstown, N.”
