The evidence

• “Y.; in 1836, moved with his parents to Crawford Co., Penn., where he worked on his father's farm till 1843, when he learned his profession ; in 1856, -he came to Wisconsin and located in Magnolia Township, and, in 1874, moved to Plymouth. Married Mi.ss Mary Ann Creighton, of Mercer Co., Penn., Oct. 16, 1851 ; she died March 19, 1859, leaving two children- — Lizzie J., born June 12, 1853, married Oct, 12, 1873 ; George W,, May 15, 1855, died March 20, 1873, by accidentally shooting himself with a gun, HORACE WELiIiS, proprietor of the Wells House, Footville ; born Aug, 31, 1811, in East Canada, where he was educated, and followed various occupations, and worked for his father in a distillery, and making potash and pearlash.”
