A settler came to Wisconsin in 1853 (later of Magnolia).

• “Magnolia; born June 22, 1817, in Madison Co., N. Y. ; came to Wisconsin in 1853 ; in 1860, moved to Magnolia Township, Rock Co., and bought his farm of 120 acres. He was Chairman of the Board of Supervisors two years, and member of the State Letrislature for 1874 and 1875.”
