• “P. 0. Evansville ; born in Pennsylvania March 7, 1824 ; went to Ohio in 1834, and came to Wisconsin in 1848, locating in Mount Pleasant, Green Co, where he engaged in farming. His whole possessions, when he arrived in Wisconsin, were a wife and 50 cents in money.”
