• “Miller, besides being engaged in general farming and stock raising, is a large grower of tobacco, for which he finds a ready market and which yields him a good income. His parents were both natives of Monroe county, Pennsylvania, and came to Rock county, Wisconsin, in 1840. The father was a farmer and a large owner of farm lands in this and Green county, having at one time 2,400 acres which he accumulated by his own efforts, untiring and persistent industry.”
