Union Hall was built in Janesville by Edward Murray.

The evidence

• “The only other hall which ever attained to any prominence was Union Hall, which was built by Mr. Edward Murray in 1855. It stood on the corner of Race and State streets, but Was destroyed by fire in 1871.”
