• “P. 0. Brodhead ; born in New York in 1835 ; came to Wisconsin in 1853, locating at Spring Valley, where he engaged at farming till 1864, when he moved to St. Croix Co., remaining there four years, when he removed to Avon and purchase(jl 102 acres — his present homestead.”
