• “Y., and remained there till 1841 ; he then went to Rochester, N. Y., where he resided till 1844 ; then eame to Illinois and located near Rockford ; came to Beloit in 1845, and bought a farm, which he lived on for five years, then sold it ; he then bought sixty acres in Sec. 27, with residence and barns, lived on it for eighteen years, then sold the properj;y, now in the city limits, to W. N.”
