• “Wilcox came with his family to Wisconsin in 1845, when they located and bought 100 acres of land where he is now living on Sec. 15 ; he raises the usual crop of the county. On the Republican ticket, in 1854, he was elected Treasurer of Harmony Township ; served one term ; in 1858, was Assessor one term; in 1863, he was re-elected Treasurer for one term. His son Henry enlisted in the 13th W.”
