Edgerton ; born in Truxton, Cortland Co., N.y., July 25,1826; son of Gilbert Brown ; he came West in 1852; came to Wisconsin and located in Edgerton, in the fall of 1860, and engaged in buying and selling horses for the Government ; in 1862 started the livery business, which he still carries on. He married Sarah J.”
