You're helping with this event: January 10, 1929, The Beloit Daily Independent commented on the winter transportation situation: a bad spell of slippery weather had stopped the bus lines the previous day, forcing passengers to use the interurban or steam cars; a bus bound for Janesville got only as far as Yost Park, north of the city, before service was quit for the day.
