You're helping with this event: June 5, 1923, An interurban train struck a car at Yost Park (now Big Hill Park, just north of Beloit off Afton Road), instantly killing Rudolph Haberle, 27, of Beloit; two passengers, Dorothy Davenport, 27, of Whitewater, and Viola Murray, 24, of Beloit, later died from their injuries.
