You're helping with this event: October 1929, The Wisconsin Archeologist published descriptions of former aboriginal occupation at sites on and adjoining the John A. Yost farm and Yost Park, including scattered Indian fireplace stones, flint chips and flakes, broken pebble hammerstones, a probable scraper, a pottery fragment, and a notched arrowpoint; it also recommended that the Beloit Historical Society seek to preserve a linear mound opposite the Yost farm house.
